Cicero Emory was born to William "Bill" Derius Sexton and Sarah Ann Reed in  Forsyth County, GA.  He was ordained to the gospel ministry July 1, 1902.  He  ran a corn mill most of his adult life.
 He married Zona Holland in Forsyth County, GA Nov. 15, 1901,  They had four  children.  Their first child, a boy, was born Sept. 16, 1902 and died two days  later.  He was never named.  Cicero and Zona had three other children, Hubert Lee,  William Ottis  and Josie.
 Zona died Dec. 4, 1938 and is buried in the Concord Baptist Church cemetery in  Forsyth County. GA.  Cicero married again to Ora Propes.  They are buried in  the Memorial Park cemetery in Hall County, GA.  They had no children.
